Flyers

Knowing how and where to publicize an event is extremely important.  The flyers should not be too busy, but catchy with enough information.  Most of the campuses require that you get it approved first; you can bring it to any dean of student's office to get it stamped.  The one at Scripps is the closest to McAlister.  Ask students to help you flyer, since they know where people look.  Place table tents in all the dinning halls and coffee shops on campus.  If it is a big event consider sending a postcard or flyer in the mail.  Include a piece of candy, which is always a hit.  There are bulletin boards all around the different campuses.  But again, ask students to help, not only does it make you job a little easier, but it empowers them at the same time.
