Marc Abrams was the Program Director at Claremont for two years.  Before that he was the JCSC at Hofstra University.  He received his undergraduate degree at UCSB.  Next year he will be going to grad school at HUC for Jewish Communal Service.

Rabbi Leslie Bergson has been the Hillel Director and Jewish Chaplain at The Claremont Colleges for eight years.  She was ordained at Hebrew Union College in New York in 1995, and, before attending rabbinical school, worked at San Francisco Hillel and Northern California Hillel Council.

Leah Weiss went to Umass Amherst for her undergraduate work.  She was the JCSC at Claremont for a year.  She plans on moving to Boston and is still seeking employment.

The Staff Structure at Claremont is fairly laid back.  Mostly everyone works independently.  This year the program director was the JCSC supervisor, however, this structure is changing, and the director will be supervising both the JCSC and the program director.

Director-is in charge of the staff, has Rabbinic responsibilities, and also does a lot of the fundraising.

Program Director-is in charge of the Calendar, weekly email, Wednesday Social Lunch, and Friday Night Dinner.  Also, they are the supervisor for the Hillel Board, and in charge of random programs.

Jewish Campus Service Corps Fellow-is in charge of all engagement work, tabling, etc.  It is their job to create programs that will attract new students.  The work varies based on the goals of the individual, and it can go from cold calling, to coffee dates, from email to spa days.
